Originally ordered what I thought were boots similar to these, from a well-known shoe catalog merchant. When I received them, I found that the instep strap was too short to go over my instep. Moreover, the boots were made in China, and were of low quality. Returned them, but had to pay the shipping of $11.
Then, I saw these boots on Amazon, from Shoe Mall. I ordered them, they came quickly, they fit fine, and they look GREAT. They cost only about $25 more than the Chinese ones I chose to return. They are made in Canada ... amazing! ... not made in China! You can tell just by holding them, looking at them, and (most importantly) walking in them, that they are of high quality. And Shoe Mall sent them with FREE shipping. They have really sturdy tread too. I'm very pleased!
