This Boot.
Red Wing is notoriously famous for making tougher-than-nails work boots that can handle mud, trekking, impact, and any number of scenarios that a blue collar man will face. Admittedly, I'm not one of those, but the craftsmanship of these 'Brogue Ranger' boots is unmistakably tough, masculine, and classic. The wingtip toe is a brilliant detail that allows me to wear these boots with anything from jeans and a t-shirt all the way to a full suit, seamlessly. WARNING: you will be doing major break-in with these boots. They will take days of consistent, persistent wear and walking before they feel comfortable. They are down right uncomfortable the first few days you wear them, but the longer you wear them, the more they become like a second skin, and a damn durable one at that.
I didn't purchase through this vendor, but if they check out, you'll most likely dig these shoes. Sizing is iffy, so go check out how you fit into Red Wing's sizing chart, because from what I understand, once you know your size, they're pretty consistent. I'm usually a 10.5, but I ended up buying a 9.5 for these boots because the last thing I wanted was a loose boot that would only become looser with wear.
Great boots, hoping they'll last me a decade or so with some re-soling every few years.
